Yoga - History, Wisdom and What is it Really all About?!
We've heard about doing Yoga to help get ones tummy
slim, so what has that to do with a spiritual practise? What was yoga originally meant
(pictured) is a philosopher, monk and author. Originally from Belfast, he's served for 20
years in Krishna temples. His patiently-written 500-page book "God's Illusion Machine" is
an Eastern Bhakti-tradition response to 'The God
Delusion' by Richard Dawkins.
Mayesvara is very soft-spoken and gentle in manner.
Introduction to Japa meditation. Japa is the soft personal chanting of mantra, generally using
wooden chanting beads.
It is a daily practise of monks. This meditation assists oneself with mindfulness practise.
Focusing and paying attention to the holy sound brings a sense of peace and contentment.

We will be doing some Meditation Walking with japa beads around the forest track on

Depart for the Killeshandra forest park walk.
30 mins of this 1-hour and 15 mins walk will be dedicated to japa walking meditation.

Return from the walks, relax, chat, massages, etc. Dinner available from 6.30pm.

|| Cross to island for temple sacred chant music and just to relax on the island.
This is the normal day-visiting time for visitors in any week.
